We have two specific products, Postfix and Fast Set Postfix, to make
the installation of fence posts really easy.
Of course they’re not just for fencing applications. They’re ideal for
garden lighting poles, clothes lines, gates and pergolas, indeed
anything that needs fixing permanently into the ground. Postfix is our
standard product which offers an easy way of using the perfect ready
mixed mortar to get the job done. Fast Set Postfix as the name implies
does the same job, but sets much more quickly, enabling you to move
onto the next post rapidly and efficiently, which is a great advantage
when you have a lot of posts to get into the ground.
Being ready mixed products you can be sure that you have exactly the
right proportions and type of mortar and all you need to do is add water.
For best results follow the step-by-step build process below

Dig a hole approximately one spade square and one and a half spades
deep. (250mm x 250mm x 350mm).
Position your post carefully in the centre of the hole and ensure it’s vertical.
Pour approximately 2 litres of water into the bottom of the hole. (More
instructions for the amount of water to be added can be found on the pack
itself).
Pour the complete bag of Postfix (or Fast Set Postfix) into the hole and
check the vertical position of the post with a spirit level.
Adjust and centre the post, tamping if necessary to remove any air bubbles.
Sprinkle further water to combine with any dry mixture left on the surface
and allow around 5/10 minutes (dependent on your chosen product),
before carrying out further work.
